Travelling from Illinois to South Bass Island in Ohio( PUT IN BAY). Cheaper to fly to Cleveland or Toledo?
We will need to fly, then rent a car to take us to the Ferry, then to the Island. Trying to figure out the fastest and cheapest way other than driving the whole way from Illinois.

Hey. i live on the island and i have also been to illinois. The quickest and cheapest way to get here is through the toledo airport. the airport is small and take about 10 minutes to get out of after landing. the cleveland airport takes about2 hours to get throught the airport. fly on allegent airlines. the plane is very nice and small so its not pact with people and the seats are quite comfortable. its about an hour and a half drive from toledo to the boat. stay at the BAYSHORE RESORT. its the only waterfront restauraunt and its the newest hotel available. its beautiful.. hoped that helped!
